The lounge is warmed by a woodburning stove, set against a stone surround, and there is cosy seating uplifted by the natural light streaming in through the window. There is a dining area in the kitchen, ready for you to enjoy some home cooked meals, and though it is simple in design, it is well-equipped with integrated fixtures. The ground floor is complete with a bathroom in an all-white finish, occupying a bath and an electric shower. Upstairs are the three bedrooms; two doubles, followed by a twin, which share a shower room. The large walk-in shower cubicle wakes you up each morning before you step out to explore the wider region of the Highlands. To the outside, you have use of a patio with garden furniture and a shed for storage. Just a couple of miles along the River Aline will bring you to the village of Lochaline, which overlooks the spectacular Sound of Mull. There is a shop, snack bar, seafood restaurant and for those feeling energetic, a thriving dive centre. Take the ferry over to the Isle of Mull and explore a wealth of flora and fauna, sandy beaches, walking, cycling and fishing. You may be lucky enough to catch glimpses of whales and dolphins, or even the elusive Eurasian Otter, as well as abundant seabirds that nest along the seaweed covered shorelines. The village of Lochaline sits at the mouth of the sea loch on the Morvern Peninsula. It has a shop/post office, snack bar, hotel and seafood restaurant and there is also a dive school. There is easy access by car-ferry to the Isle of Mull, with walks, beaches, cycling, fishing and a shoreline to explore. The town of Fort William is about an hour's drive away, where you can explore the Nevis Range; ride the Gondola to 2150ft besides Ben Nevis, stroll along mountain footpaths and ski in the winter.
