From the front door, a flight of stairs will take you into the well-equipped kitchen. In the morning you can rest at the breakfast table and enjoy a cup of tea whilst planning out your day. Off this is the bathroom which is nicely tiled with elegant fittings and plenty of storage space for an extra touch. Leading from the kitchen you can wander out onto the sun terrace and soak up the early morning sun, or chill outside with a cold drink before heading out for the night. Two steps will take you to the sitting room featuring exposed beams, offering a comfortable place to watch TV at your own leisure, or simply relax on the electric reclining sofa after a long day. Next door is a king-size bedroom, spacious and inviting with a pleasant street outlook. From the apartment, a short walk takes you to the wonderful range of pubs and restaurants where you can enjoy some alfresco dining. For a more active break, Minehead marks the beginning of the scenic South West Coast Path which takes you around the incredible beaches and coastline in the North Devon area. Here you will also find the fascinating South West Steam Railway Head to nearby New Porlock for a delightful day trip where you can discover the quaint shops or the Hawkcombe Woods National Nature Reserve. Further afield there is Exmoor National Park with its wooded valleys, pretty bridle paths and heather-clad moors, is well worth a visit, along with the magnificent Norman Castle at nearby Dunster. A wonderful apartment which can be enjoyed all year around.
The town of Minehead boasts a mile long esplanade, providing a backdrop to the golden beach, whilst the harbour, offers fishing opportunities. Enjoy a steam train journey from the seafront on the West Somerset Railway, or visit Blenheim Gardens. Exmoor National Park with its wooded valleys, bridle paths and heather-clad moors, is well worth a visit, whilst the Norman Castle at nearby Dunster is a must.
