Step into the entrance hall and feel welcomed inside by exposed beams and a real sense of charm. Kick off your walking shoes and head through to the lounge to make the most of your down time by taking in the character features as you sink into the sofa and turn on the TV, or play a board game at the coffee table. There is a fabulous ground floor family room just off from here boasting a grand piano tucked into one corner, ideal for the musically attuned and getting everyone together (see our entertainment package). You have dual aspect windows allowing plenty of natural light through and a king-size double bed followed by a single for those traveling with a child. The nearby town of Holmfirth is worth a visit, especially for Last of the Summer Wine fanatics, and you can also explore the cities of Leeds and Sheffield. Meltham is a small town situated below Wessenden Moor on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It offers local shops and pubs as well as its golf course, which is over a 100 years old with wonderful views of the Pennine Hills.
