Relax in this lovely welcoming bungalow, as you watch the boats sail by on the Menai Strait and the sun setting in the distance. The large, well fitted kitchen and breakfast room has a built-in oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The sitting room is comfortably furnished and well heated with a gas fire. Both the dining and sitting rooms overlook the garden to the sea and have sliding doors that open onto the patio. There are 4 bedrooms. The main bedroom as a double bed and an en suite shower room with power shower, wash basin and loo. There is also a twin room and two single rooms. The bathroom has a bath, wash basin and loo. There is also a cloakroom with a wash basin and loo. A patio stretches the length of the house, and steps lead down to the sheltered garden, which has garden furniture. From Mon a Menai it is an easy walk to the centre of Caernarfon where you will find independent shops, restaurants and bars, and a world famous castle. There is access to a coastal cycle path, and the shore is just a few hundred yards from the door.

Caernarfon (county town of Gwynedd) has much historic and cultural importance in North Wales. It is a popular tourist spot with its impressive 13th Century castle, well preserved town walls and delightful water front. During the season there are guided tours of the castle and special events including historic pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery, the village of Beddgelert and onto Porthmadog. Fishing trips are available from the harbour and another attraction within walking distance of the town centre is Segontium, a Roman fort and museum, housing many important finds. Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and is close to the lovely beaches of the Isle of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of Snowdonia, including the renowned mountaineering town of Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon.
