This charming former fisherman’s cottage is one of the oldest properties in Seahouses. Powder House has been lovingly restored retaining many original features throughout. Accommodation is over two floors providing flexible living space for four guests. The property has a private garden with table and chairs for alfresco dining - plus a shared children’s play area. A fabulous spot - very close to the harbour and beach, with the town’s amenities just a short walk away. Powder House is a great base for exploring this beautiful area - visit the Farne Islands to observe the seabirds and the colony of Grey Seals. 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which clings to a rocky outcrop, and it’s just 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne (accessible at low tide along the causeway). Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Good golfing (0,.5 miles), fishing and horse riding available locally. Sleeps: 4 in 2 bedrooms. Beds: 1 x super king size/twin beds, 2 x twin beds. Accommodation Ground floor: Kitchen: electric cooker, microwave, fridge. Utility: washing machine, dryer.
