Upon entering through the side of the property, you are greeted with a well-equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher and traditional-style sink. Stepping into the cosy living room area, picture curling up in front of the blazing fire after a day fishing in the nearby river with the last of the sunlight streaming through the sash windows. Venturing up the spiralling staircase, there are two well-presented bedrooms, one large double and one twin room equipped with colourful bunkbeds. The family bathroom continues to nod towards the property’s historic roots, offering a traditional-style bathroom suite with a modern twist. In just over a 10-minute drive, you and your family can visit the renowned Blair Drummond Safari Park, home to over 350 animals, roaming free in the 120-acre estate. Venture into the Trossachs National Park & Loch Lomond to discover the Scottish wildlife and soak up the incredible panoramic views. Doune is a pretty village resting within the district of Stirling, Scotland. The village houses a medieval castle which was used as the Monty Python set. Today, it houses a 95ft high gatehouse and also boasts domestic quarters where you will find the Lord’s Hall with its carved oak screen and double fireplace.
