A peaceful location on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and Wye Valley there is a lots to explore by foot, the market town of Abergavenny is within walking distance, take advantage of their weekly farmers market or relax with an afternoon tea at the Angel hotel. The Skirrid is within easy reach, one of the smaller mountains with stunning views. This area is steeped in history with some of Europe s finest surviving castles, Abergavenny Castle set against the spectacular hills and Crickhowell Castle, a prominent feature within a small market town, or if you want an adventure try canoeing or kayaking on the River Wye. The area is also host to a vibrant events calendar to include Usk show and Abergavenny food festival. Take in the views across the mountain range before you step inside. This former school house has been beautifully restored, the entrance hall is wide with a bench well placed for you to take a seat and remove your boots after a day exploring. To the end of the hallway is a shower room with shower and WC. Also, off the hallway you have access to the lounge/diner, a large room that s perfect for friends to get together, the leather sofa curves around the room creating a divide and fronts the TV/DVD which is great for a movie. The dining table will seat up to four guests and is well placed to the rear of the room. The kitchen is accessed via the lounge, contemporary in style and well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. So, when the time comes to bid good night climb the solid wooden stairs to the first floor, here you will find two bedrooms. A king size bedroom with views onto the Skirrid and a further double room also with great views. There is a bathroom with free standing bath, separate shower and WC completing on this floor. Step outside and take a seat on the patio where you can enjoy views onto the countryside and mountains and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining. There is off road parking for two cars.
