This property is located in the village of Instow, a particularly attractive waterfront village which is located on the estuary of the rivers Taw and Torridge. The sandy beach is a lovely place to relax and play, whist the village itself is an enjoyable place to wander around and enjoy the various pubs and restaurants. In the warmer months, a ferry runs across the estuary to the neighbouring harbour village of Appledore, a picture postcard village, with pretty fishermen s cottages and a working harbour with fishing boats and pleasure craft. Just five miles away, the beach at Westward Ho! offers a wide expanse of sand and is popular with families and surf enthusiasts alike, in fact there is even a surf school here, so visitors can have a go at catching a wave. On entering this property, guests will find themselves in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its spacious seating area, with comfortable seating, Smart TV/DVD, and a dining area with table seating six. The kitchen area is tucked away in its own corner and is well equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Open tread wooden stairs lead from the lounge area to the first floor accommodation, where there are three bedrooms. The first of these is a pleasant double room, while a second room has twin beds, and a third is a cosy bunk bedroom (only suitable for children 13 and under). The bathroom, which is also located on the first floor, offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside, to the rear of the property, and accessed through the kitchen area, there is an enclosed patio garden with garden furniture and a BBQ, which makes it a great place to enjoy an ice cream bought from the locally famed Hockings vans. There is allocated off road parking provided for one car and restricted on street parking for any additional cars.
