Less than ten miles away is the famous Glastonbury Tor where you can walk up to the top and admire the amazing views. The town of Glastonbury itself makes a wonderful place for a day trip, with its atmospheric ruined abbey, legend steeped Chalice Well Gardens, its interesting range of unusual shops and independent eateries. For a bit of retail therapy, take a trip to Clarks Village Outlet Shopping in nearby Street which is within 7 miles. Or for water babies, head to Street s Greenbank heated outdoor pool just around the corner from the shopping outlet. For fishing enthusiasts, fishing can be arranged at nearby Kings Sedgemoor Drain (permit required).
