Positioned at the bottom of the hill in the heart of Polruan conveniently located to visit the beach, local pubs, cafe, shop and bakery. Take the passenger ferry across to Fowey which offers further amenities. For outdoor enthusiasts explore the South West Coast Path, Cardinham Woods with its waymarked trails and paths which weave through 650 acres of woodland or Siblyback Lake Country Park offers a variety of water sports including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and wakeboarding. For day trips visit Daphne du Mauriers Smugglers Museum, Charlestown Shipwreck Centre with artefacts from over 50 different shipwrecks, National Trust Lanhydrock House and gardens with woodland and riverside paths to explore and Pencarrow House and gardens surrounded by lake and picturesque woodlands. Enter the property into the stylish open plan lounge/dining area with sofa, chair and purpose built window seat which looks out onto the bustling Fore Street. After a day of exploring, enjoy a meal together at the dining table with seating for six and sit back and relax on the sofa and watch a film on the TV/DVD. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village.
