Close by is Bigbury beach, where at low tide you can walk across the sand to Burgh Island. At high tide a sea tractor can take you across, a trip not to be missed and especially popular with young children. Further afield you can visit Woodlands Leisure Park which guarantees a fun filled day out for all ages or take a step back in time by visiting Dartmouth Museum. Or you could visit the picturesque village of Salcombe which offers a wide variety of on and off water activities.
