When you fancy an adventure, there are plenty to choose from, including The Cleveland Way: A National Trail which passes close by on its route from Helmsley (26 miles) to the Yorkshire Coast. There are also lots of quaint market towns and villages to visit with a variety of eateries to suit all tastes and budgets, from Michelin starred restaurants to adorable tearooms. As you approach the picturesque cottage, you will already have an image in your head of what the interior should look like, and you will not be disappointed. Stepping inside, make your way through the entrance hall to the spacious lounge, where you will be greeted by exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace with wood burner and a cosy ambience: the perfect place to snuggle up with your favourite tipple and a good book. The contemporary, galley style kitchen is adjacent to the lounge and offers views of the mature garden; it is well equipped allowing you to cater for all your needs. The utility room around the corner is the ideal place for cleaning off dirty walking boots or muddy paws. Leading on from the kitchen is the light and airy dining room where you can all gather to discuss plans, play a game or share a meal. Ascending the typically narrow, winding staircase, you will find the two bedrooms (one king size and one twin), with their sloping ceilings, exposed beams and painted, stone window frames looking out across the estate village. The family bathroom is at the end of the landing, which is cool and contemporary with exposed floorboards and a crisp, white suite nestled into the eaves. Outside, there is a lawned garden at the front and a mature garden to the rear. The back garden includes apple trees and a spacious terrace for outdoor dining in the Yorkshire sunshine. Children and adults alike will love the summer house at the top of the garden where you can escape for an hour or two and soak up the tranquillity and beautiful surroundings.
