Polruan is a small fishing village in the parish of Lanteglos by Fowey in Cornwall. It is bounded on three sides by water. The village has two pubs and a passenger ferry that will take you across to Fowey. The neighbouring village of Bodinnick to the north is connected by a four mile walk along the hill tops. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do, why not visit the tall ships at Charlestown, take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock in Bodmin. Entering this charming three storey property into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, coffee machine and washer/dryer. Located near the window, is the dining area which comfortably seats four. The lounge area has a large L shaped sofa, a wood burner effect electric fire, TV/DVD, CD player and i Pod dock. Heading up to the first floor there is a double bedroom which overlooks Fore Street down to the estuary. Also on this floor you will find the bathroom, with shower over bath and WC. Then take the stairs to the second floor, the final bedroom is in the attic of the house, a twin bedroom. Please note this is accessed via steep attic stairs. Due to the location there is no outside space for this property, however the cottage is so close to the quay and beach. Parking is available in the public car park nearby, weekly passes can be purchased. Need to know: 2 Bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin 2'6 beds more suited to children (restricted head height) . 1 Bathroom. Electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher,coffee machine and washer/dryer. Electricity and night storage heating included . Bed linen and towels included (not beach towels). Parking in nearby car parks where charges apply . Wi Fi included. Regret no pets. Beach, pub and shop within walking distance. TV/DVD, CD player and i Pod dock. Steep stairs up to the attic twin bedroom. Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.. Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.. There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village..
