There is a choice of shops, pubs, restaurants, galleries and the Maritime Museum which reflects the village s nautical heritage. Enjoy a boat trip across to Instow with its sand dune beach, or fishing trips in Bideford Bay. Walk the coast path to Bideford or to Westward Ho!, just over a mile away, with two miles of sandy, surfing beach. Other attractions nearby include Lundy Island, The Tarka Trail, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor and Clovelly with its winding, cobbled streets. In the evenings, enjoy a pint or a meal in one of the many pubs or restaurants.
