This property is situated in an area of Lakeland celebrated for its connections to both Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. Guests can walk from the property to the village centre of Hawkshead, where they will find shops, a pub, and a number of National Trust properties. Just a few miles away is Claife Heights, a stunning vantage point above Lake Windermere, which has a purpose built viewing station. Five miles to the west of the property is Coniston Water, which, with its boating centre, is the perfect place for those who want to hire boats, try stand up paddle boarding, or give windsurfing a go. With so much on offer, your holiday can be as relaxing or as adventurous as you wish. This cottage offers ground floor accommodation for two people and makes a lovely place for a couple s getaway.
