Enjoy a stroll on the thirty two mile traffic free Tarka Trail suitable for walkers, wheelchair users and cyclists. Try a walk along the riverside path to the market town of Bideford, famed for its pannier and open air markets and tempting selection of local shops and pubs. Enjoy the stunning wildlife rich countryside on your doorstep , or walk on the scenic and rugged South West Coast Path soaking up the sea views. Also within a few minutes' walk is the sandy Instow beach, ideal for those looking for a beach holiday, where children can make sand castles and explore the sand dunes .There are a wealth of other sandy beaches and attractions which can be reached within a short drive, including Westward Ho! with its 2 miles of golden sands where surfing, fishing , golf and horse riding are available.
