Set within the quiet and quaint village of Metherell on the Devon Cornwall border, this charming converted barn is in an ideal location for exploring both counties. In the village itself guests can find two welcoming pubs offering food and drink. There s also a whole host of wonderful walks to be had from the doorstep of the property, leading out to the spectacular Tamar Valley as well as the varied landscapes of Dartmoor National Park. Also nearby is National Trust Cotehele, a much loved Tudor house and estate, as well as the market town of Tavistock, where there is a wide selection of pubs, shops and restaurants, as well as leisure facilities including a swimming pool and a cinema. The property adjoins the Owners Georgian Country Home and approached via 3 steps, once inside the accommodation is all on one level. The accommodation comprises of one double bedroom with an en suite shower room and WC, and an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To your left is the double bedroom with vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, wall mounted TV and the en suite. The lounge/kitchen/diner is open plan and also has a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, this room is perfect for an evening s relaxation in front of the wood burner whilst watching a good film on the TV, which is a 43" Smart TV. The kitchen area is well equipped and features a breakfast bar, double oven with hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a washing machine. Outside, there is an enclosed patio to the side of the property complete with garden furniture and a BBQ. Try your culinary skills using the wood fired pizza oven.There is also a large shared exercise area for pets onsite, while another pet friendly feature is the hot and cold outdoor dog shower.
