There is a choice of country walks, cycle routes and golf at Cricket St Thomas. Retail therapy can be found in the market towns of Ilminster, Chard, Crewkerne and the larger towns of Yeovil and Taunton. Explore the famous World Heritage Jurassic coastline where you can go fossil hunting on Charmouth beach or visit Lyme Regis, Dorset s iconic seaside town. Nearby are National Trust's Barrington Court, Lytes Cary Manor, Montacute House and further afield, Stourhead House and don t forget to visit the Quantock Hills, or the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels. You are welcomed into the delightful character accommodation through the front door where there is a useful porch to store muddy boots after a countryside walk. The spacious master king size bedroom enjoys countryside views and has a TV. The second bedroom is very flexible, a single with additional single bed, which can be made up as a single or twin on request, it enjoys views over the courtyard and surrounding fields. You will also find the bathroom on this floor with a shower over bath, sink and WC, it also has beautiful heritage fixtures and a feature fireplace. Venturing outside there is a pretty enclosed sheltered suntrap courtyard with seating and a charcoal BBQ making it a perfect spot to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining with a glass of wine, or a place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee while reading the paper or planning the day ahead. There is also an outhouse which is perfect for storing bikes. There is off road parking for two cars to the front of the cottage.
