Forming part of a row of cottages overlooking Craster harbour, this property is ideally located for exploring the picturesque village of Craster. World famous for its smoked kippers that are still prepared in the traditional way by the original company, Craster also boasts a well stocked cafe/general store and an art gallery. Set out on foot to the spectacular Northumberland Coast to reach the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle before heading inland via the beautiful heather and bracken covered slopes of The Heughs. Or head south towards Cullernose Point, a fine example of the basaltic cliffs this area is famous for. The warm and welcoming accommodation offers a cosy bolthole from which to watch the ever changing seascape outside. Prepare and enjoy meals in the traditional style kitchen/diner, which is fully equipped for rustling up delicious meals of local produce while away. At the end of a long day on foot, snuggle up in the cosy lounge beyond, which features comfortable sofas, a TV, DVD, CD player and radio, an electric fire and a pretty window overlooking the sea. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double with coastal views from two windows and one light and airy twin. The bedrooms share a modern tiled bathroom with overhead shower. To the front of the property there is a shared lawn area with benches for enjoying al fresco drinks while watching the comings and goings of the harbour below. To the rear of the cottage is a further shared lawn area together with a patio with table and chairs for al fresco dining. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Electric oven and hobs, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. Shared lawn area to the front with sea views, shared enclosed lawn area and patio to the rear with garden furniture. Washing machine. Electric fire place. Allocated off road parking 1 car. Bed linen and towels. Central heating and electric included. 2 well behaved dogs welcome. TV/DVD in the lounge. Beach, pub and shops within walking distance. REGRET No Sunday changeover.
