Nestled amidst scenic countryside, the cottage is one of three properties just a stone's throw from the village of Eyam and its fascinating history of the plague in 1665. There are plentiful walks from the doorstep of the cottage making it a great choice for outdoor enthusiasts. The property makes the most of the incredible views of the surrounding area, looking out towards Froggart, Curbar and Baslow Edges. For rainy days, the city of Sheffield is just a short drive away and offers arts, culture, shopping and restaurants. The open plan, well equipped kitchen, lounge dining area of the property benefits from the warmth and character of flagged limestone flooring throughout. A woodburner set into a striking Derbyshire stone fireplace adds to the charm of the space. Upstairs the spacious bedroom with a king size bed features an impressive vaulted ceiling. There is an en suite shower room, inclusive of a shower, hand basin and toilet. An additional chair bed is available for increased occupancy and the bedding needs to be requested at time of booking. Outside the cottage there is a lovely seating area with views of the woodland, providing a wonderful space for relaxing in the fresh country air.
