Perfectly placed in an idyllic hamlet at the base of Haytor, this property is within a mile of a pub, tearoom, tor and historic quarry. Head out on foot and find a magnificent array of walks and cycle trails through Dartmoor National Park, while a short drive will bring you to the historic cathedral city of Exeter, home to a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Arranged on one level, the accommodation features wooden floorboards, pretty soft furnishings and antique furniture, all reflecting the history of this property. The large open plan lounge/diner has been beautifully decorated and ordained with period furnishings and thoughtful touches. Cosy up in front of the TV/DVD beside the coal effect electric fire after enjoying a family meal at the antique dining table. Next door, the kitchen contains an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher, while a separate utility room houses the washer/dryer and table top freezer. There are two bedrooms at the other end of the property, one king size and one twin. The bedrooms have been elegantly decorated and share a Jack and Jill en suite shower room with WC. There is a further shower room with WC off the main hallway. Outside, a pretty patio area with garden furniture gives way to an enclosed garden and lawn, perfect for summer afternoons outside with children as well as four legged friends. You will also find a Belfast sink outside, ideal for washing muddy boots or dirty paws.
