Retaining all the charm and features of an old property, warming oak beams, dry stone walls. The Brecon and Monmouth Canal is very close at hand, with Goytre Whalf making a great morning stroll. Well located to explore the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean in one direction and the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons in the other. Located just 20 minutes from the Severn Bridge, with easy access to Cardiff, Monmouth, Usk and Abergavenny, perfect for the country shows and food festivals throughout the year. In the Welsh borderlands you will find Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle, The Roman Fortress in Caerleon are all within easy reach The Big Pit is also well worth a trip with children, (free of charge), a chance to head underground in a real mine. Leisure facilities: private hot tub. This open plan accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king size with views and 1 twin. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Separate WC on the ground floor. KEEPING CLEAN: An upstairs bathroom with bath, over bath shower, basin and loo. Towels included. A downstairs cloakroom with basin and loo. A self contained utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, drying racks and ample storage for muddy boots! There is in addition a lockable storage area for bikes. PETS: Up to two well behaved and house trained pets are welcome at Jack's Barn. STAYING CONNECTED: There is mobile signal on most networks at the Barn, wi fi is available and there is also free wi fi at the local pub within walking distance at the top of the lane.
