Ideally located amid the stunning scenery of the beautiful Glenclova valley, the close by area has an abundance of wildlife and offers a wealth of outdoor activities. Activities include Munro bagging, walking, biking, loch and river fishing for salmon and trout, to deer stalking. Golfers will also be delighted with the area boasting a number of fantastic local and links courses, including the championship course at Carnoustie. There is also an array of mountain ranges, lochs and country tracks for you to explore. The property is located slightly further afield from the historic famous town of Kirriemuir. The birthplace of J M Barrie, author of Peter Pan and Bon Scott of the Rock group ACDC. Entering the lodge, there are two double bedrooms on the ground floor which provide a warm and cosy space for a good night s rest. Each bedroom benefits from an en suite shower room and WC, so no queues for the shower in the morning. Also, on the ground floor is the sauna which is a real treat and will soothe those achy legs after a day hiking the hills. Heading upstairs, the first floor is home to the third double bedroom, also with en suite shower room and WC. The lounge/kitchen/diner is impressive, with French doors leading onto a large balcony which offers magnificent views over the surrounding glens. Put your feet up on the comfortable sofas and snuggle up with loved ones with something good on the TV/DVD.
