If you are into history, you re spoilt with attractions, including, Richmond Castle, museums, war memorial, Easby Abbey, or visit the River Swale Waterfalls or National Trust s Hudswell Woods. Explore the surrounding areas on foot, with plenty of countryside to explore, set on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is not far from the North Pennines and Nidderdale, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If you re feeling active play a game of cricket at Richmondshire Cricket Club. A visit to The Station, a disused railway station, is a perfect way to end a day with tea and cake, there is also a cinema and local gallery. Head up six steps to the entrance of the property and enter the hallway where you can leave behind your coats and boots. Head through to the lounge and relax after a long day of exploring, watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV/DVD and cosy up in front of the wood burner effect gas fire. Head up two steps to the gravelled area and relax on the garden furniture, enjoy al fresco dining with the gas BBQ or chat into the evening by the warmth of the chiminea.
