Visitors can wander the narrow streets, browse the shops, sample the local seafood in the village s bistros and pubs, and watch the fishing boats bob in the attractive quay, all within a few minutes walk of the cottage. For a change of scenery, there is a seasonal ferry which runs across the estuary to the neighbouring village of Instow, where there is a sand and shingle beach. On opening the front door to this attractive 17th century property, four steps down bring guests to the relaxing lounge/diner with its beamed ceiling, fireplace with living flame fire, TV, and hi fi. There is a dining table seating four, beyond which a door leads through to the kitchen: with an electric oven, hob, microwave, and fridge with ice compartment. The property s bathroom is also located on the ground floor and offers a shower over bath and WC. Stairs from the lounge/diner lead to a galleried landing, off from which there are two bedrooms. The first of these is an attractive double room with bedside tables and a dressing table, whilst the second bedroom is a bunk bedroom. Outside, the property benefits from an enclosed courtyard patio located adjacent to the property, which has a BBQ and garden furniture, allowing guests to enjoy al fresco meals. Guests should note that there is a covered pond in the garden, and therefore children will need careful supervision.
