This established farm enjoys an elevated location on the fringes of the peaceful hamlet of Llangarron, a perfect base for those wanting to getaway from day to day life. Within easy reach of both the Wye Valley and Royal Forest of Dean with outdoor activities. Offering easy access to both riverside towns of Ross on Wye, the birthplace of modern tourism with its 17th century market house, and Monmouth the birth place of Henry V. Visit Goodrich Castle, established in 1095 set majestically within a wooded hill, and the spectacular views from Symonds Yat Rock are not to be missed. Spend a day kayaking down the River Wye or have a day out at Eastnor Castle full of fun activities for the family. Herefordshire is a great place for those food lovers with lots of lovely gourmet pubs just a short drive away, and the Abergavenny Food Festival. Take the track across the meadow where you will see the first glimpse of the cottage through the weeping willow. Enjoy the fabulous views across the countryside before you enter through the utility room, a great space to kick off and dry your muddy walking boots, equipped with both washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. This area opens into the kitchen/diner, beautifully finished with a handcrafted solid kitchen with wooden work tops and well equipped to test the best of chefs with an electric Range oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. This is a perfect space for enjoying meals with family and friends around the farmhouse style table. Watch the sunset over the Welsh Mountains from the adjoining conservatory with its comfy chairs, cosy throws and Bluetooth speaker, perfect for summer or winter evenings alike. Need to get some work done? A desk can be added in the conservatory where you can work from home and take in the stunning views. (must be requested at time of booking) The lounge offers a wood burner that s perfect for a chilly autumn or winter evening catching up with friends whilst relaxing on the cosy sofas. A set of fully glazed doors offer stunning views and access to the patio or draw the curtains and settle in for a cosy night in front of the smart TV. On the ground floor you will also find a shower room with shower and WC. On the first floor you will find three bedrooms, a king size room enjoying a dual aspect windows with stunning views and en suite shower room and WC. There is also a cosy king size bedroom and a further bedroom with king size bed (which can be made up as a twin on request). There is a light airy bathroom with a freestanding bath, perfect for soaking in after a long walk, and WC. Step outside onto the patio where you can enjoy summer dining or sit around the firepit and enjoy star gazing under the beautiful dark skies.The gardens are enclosed with mature trees and lawn areas, along with stunning views across the countryside. And for the competitive amongst you there is a games room with multi games table including pool, air hockey and table tennis. There is ample off road parking and storage for bikes and kayaks. Need to know: 3 Bedrooms 2 king size, 1 king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request). 1 bathroom, 1 shower room and 1 en suite shower and WC. Electric Range oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Games room with multi games table. If you require someone to cook for you during your stay we can arrange for a local chef to cook for you , either once or all week depending on your requirements. We can arrange a local veg box from our local supplier ready for your arrival , a delivery of wine from our local wine merchant and a meat box from our local butcher, You will need to contact the owners a minimum of 3 weeks before your stay to discuss your requirements.
