Accessed via pretty, Cornish country lanes, this petite stone built cottage is the perfect romantic bolt hole, a rural retreat yet close to amenities. The local village has a local pub with restaurant and close by you will find the towns of Callington and Saltash. Cotehele House a National Trust property is a short drive and a must see for its stunning interior and grounds. Or why not wander the Tamar River to the unspoilt spot of Halton Quay. Further afield there are many local attractions to visit such as Dartmoor Zoo and Mowellham Quay or for a bit of retail therapy visit Tavistock or Plymouth. You may like to visit Bodinnick where you will find Ferryside, Daphne du Mauriers home where she wrote her first book. Experience what Cornwall has to offer such as hidden coves and beaches, fantastic sailing waters and cliff top walks. Enter the cottage through the French doors into the lounge/kitchen/diner, where you will find there s a door immediately to your right which takes you into the contemporary shower room with shower and WC. Back in the lounge area there is a comfy sofa, why not cosy up and watch a favourite film on the TV. There is a table for a romantic meal in the dining area and the kitchen area is well equipped with an oven and two ring hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. From the kitchen area go through a door and step down into the compact, cosy bedroom with king size bed, from the window which frames the view of the lakes, ducks, wildlife and countryside beyond, you will be transfixed by a new view every moment. Stepping outside you have your own area of a shared garden with a secluded seating area where you can take in the views. Located in the grounds and to the side of the owner s property you can take advantage of the extensive shared gardens, peaceful countryside and why not enjoy a walk around the lakes and visit the resident ducks. There are also plenty of places to enjoy a picnic overlooking or around the lakes. There is also private off road parking available for one car. Need to know: 1 bedroom king size (due to the size of this room the bed is only accessible from one side). 1 shower room. Electric oven and two ring hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment.
