This cottage can be found in one of the most historic areas of Bakewell, overlooking the All Saints Church which dominates the town's skyline. From here it is just a matter of minutes to all the shops, cafes and restaurants. There's so much on the doorstep to enjoy, from strolling along beautiful River Wye which winds through the town, to soaking up the atmosphere of the weekly market and cattle auction. You can bring along your bicycles for a ride along the Monsal Trail, or pull on your walking boots and take a hike through the stunning Peak District countryside, maybe stopping off at a country pub along the way. A short ride away you'll find glittering Chatsworth House, elegant Haddon Hall and the Tissington Trail. Stepping through into the cottage via the back door you reach the welcoming hallway with handy utility space offering a washing machine and tumble dryer. Following on into the kitchen/diner with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Come together around the farmhouse table and enjoy a special meal. Upstairs you can stretch out on the sofa or curl up on the chair, gaze out through the olde worlde windows at the pretty churchyard, or just put your feet up and turn on the TV. The bathroom presents a beautiful freestanding bath with rainfall shower over. Located in the room next door is a single bedroom and you can take the second flight of stairs up to the top floor where there's a double bedroom with TV and plenty of wardrobe space and views over the churchyard as well as a further single bedroom on this floor. Outside enjoy summer evenings dining alfresco on the unique raised seating platform accessed via a steep staircase with views over the church. The property offers a parking permit for one car.
