An ideal base for walkers, with easy access into the Malvern Hills, the Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons. There are a number of National Trust properties and gardens within easy reach. Close to the Worcestershire border offering access to Leominster and Bromyard, for those looking for something a little busier visit the City of Worcester and Hereford both steeped with history. Why not take in Hay on Wye for book lovers or Ludlow for food lovers, with many local villages hosting smaller folk festivals throughout the year. Make your way across the landscaped grounds and through the traditional front door, the mix of old and new with an eclectic style makes a great first impression, the cosy lounge area with brightly coloured furnishings is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a movie after a day s exploring, the kitchen/diner is light and spacious with a large table for six that s sure to become the hub of the barn whilst dinner is prepared. The handcrafted kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a WC on this floor. At the end of the day climb the wooden stairs where you will find three bedrooms, one king size zip and link (which can be made into a twin on request), with an en suite shower and WC, another king size with views onto the open countryside and one twin. There is also a bathroom with bath and WC on this floor. Open the doors from the lounge area onto your own private garden with seating area great for dining or soaking up the late summer sun. There is parking for two cars and bicycle storage available. Need to know: SLEEPS: There are three bedrooms. Two have king size beds, one of which can be separated to form twin beds if you would prefer, this bedroom also benefits from an en suite bathroom, the third has twin beds. Bed linen is provided for your stay. RELAXING: The cottage is very warm and fully central heated. Spacious living room with comfortable sofas. There is Wi Fi throughout. COOKING & DINING: The barn boasts an open plan kitchen/dining space with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a large dining table and chairs to enjoy your evening meals from. KEEPING CLEAN: There is a bathroom with shower over the bath and WC, one of the king size bedrooms also has an en suite shower room with WC. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. You are welcome to use the washing machine in the shared utility room and towels are also provided for your stay. OUTSIDE: The outside space boasts a private garden with seating, a great spot for dining alfresco, soaking up the last of the sunshine or simply sitting back and soaking up the sights across over the countryside. Bike storage is available if you fancy heading out for a cycle during your stay. There is parking for two cars. PETS: Two well behaved dogs are more than welcome to come and stay.
