This recently converted to a high specification former cow shed is now a quaint country cottage situated on a working farm and conveniently located on the main road on the edge of the village of Rolvenden with easy access to local bus routes and the wider area beyond. This stunning pocket of the Kent countryside is home to many quaint villages where independent cafes, restaurants and antiques shops can be found. For those looking to soak up a bit of local culture during their stay, nearby Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens and Great Dixter House and Gardens are both well worth a visit. When not exploring the many footpaths that forge the rolling countryside, guests can head into nearby Tenterden and browse the wide range of independent shops or enjoy a delicious meal at the village pub in Rolvenden. A small courtyard brings you to a charming front door. Step inside and up one step to be greeted by a beautifully decorated open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Light the wood burner and curl up on the comfy sofa or the armchair and enjoy watching a movie on the Smart TV/DVD. The dining table and chairs makes for a delightful area in which to enjoy romantic meals which have been whipped up in the bespoke, well equipped kitchen. This spacious area boasts an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, coffee machine and washer/dryer. Retreat after a long day to the bedroom which features a king size bed, and the property is completed with a beautiful bathroom that has a shower over bath and WC. A door from the rear of the cottage leads into the garden, which is shared with the owner. There is a private secluded seating area with a patio table and chairs for al fresco dining, or alternatively the owner has provided additional seating overlooking the adjacent orchard and countryside beyond. There is private parking for one car and secure parking for motorcycles and bikes. Please note dogs to be supervised when in the garden, the owners two Labradors share the garden. Need to know: 1 bedroom king size. Sleeps 2 1 (sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 1 person). 1 bathroom. As The Cow Shed and adjoining timber framed house are Listed buildings, smoking/vaping or any use of candles on site is prohibited
