Sutherland and Easter Ross is a largely undiscovered corner of north east Scotland with some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. The area is steeped in history with the 1845 Highland clearances, further west is Croick Church where some of the people who were displaced have marked their names around the church and on the windows. Visit the Falls of Shin where Atlantic Salmon can be seen jumping at certain times of the year. Nearby Dornoch Beach has pure soft sand. Golfers have a choice of many golf courses, close to the renowned 500 route Scotland s answer to Route 66 in America. Ardgay village hosts a train station, bus service, local taxi service, fishing permits available from the village shop, bike shop and garage. Stepping into the property into the porch you will find a handy utility cupboard with washing machine, then head through the hallway and into the stylish well equipped kitchen/diner with an electric oven and induction hob, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The dining area has table and chairs and enjoys the stunning views and has a door opening onto the decking area. Leading from the kitchen to the bright lounge, it is the perfect place to unwind in front of the TV or watch a DVD after a day spent exploring or simply enjoy the beautiful countryside views from the picturesque window with a door opening onto the decked area. Back to the hallway you will find a shower room with shower and WC. There is also a comfy snug with sofa bed and door leading onto decking area. Heading upstairs you will find a spacious double bedroom with en suite shower room and WC, and a further two twin bedrooms all with views over the rolling countryside. Also on this floor is the bathroom with bath and WC. Heading back outside you will find a generous garden with wonderful views and decked area with garden furniture.
