Bircher Common is within walking distance of the property, giving access onto the Mortimer Trail: a 30 mile walking trail taking in the best of the Shropshire and Herefordshire countryside. Also within walking distance is the pretty village of Orleton, where visitors will find two welcoming pubs, ideal for a quick pint or perhaps a hearty pub lunch. The National Trust property of Croft Castle is just a few miles away, a stunning manor house surrounded by 1500 acres of grounds. For those who enjoy sampling the local food, the town of Ludlow is just a short drive away and offers a wide range of restaurants specialising in local food, as well as the annual food festival. On entering this Grade II listed property, guests will find themselves in the upper floor open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its attractive beamed ceilings, large corner sofa, and dining table.
