Located in the Ross shire countryside with the city of Inverness and Inverness Airport a short drive, this is a fantastic base for exploring the spectacular and dramatic Scottish Highlands. There are many country walks and cycle paths to enjoy, taking you to the dramatic Black Rock Gorge or take a woodland walk up to the Fyrish monument for spectacular views over the Cromarty Firth, or visit the Dalmore Distillery located in Alness. Black Isle and Cromarty Firth boat trips are great for dolphin and seal spotting. Among the activities available include salmon and trout fishing, shooting, golf and many others. Dornoch's beautiful beaches, Urquhart Castle, Dunrobin Castle and the famous Loch Ness are within easy reach. Dingwall is also a short drive away, where you will find shops, restaurants, cafes and leisure facilities.
