The popular village of Seahouses features a glorious beach, a bustling harbour and a fantastic choice of pubs, restaurants, shops, cafes and leisure facilities. You can take a boat trip out to the breathtaking bird sanctuaries of the Farne Islands, or cross the causeway to visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. There are numerous historic castles nearby, at Bamburgh, Alnwick, Dunstanburgh and Warkworth. You can enjoy the walk along the coastal path to the picturesque village of Bamburgh, where you ll find a glorious beach, a great range of shops, restaurants and cafes, and the RNLI Grace Darling Museum. The coastal path also leads to Beadnell with its fabulous beach and famous bay renowned for water sports.
