The cottage has been carefully renovated using premium materials throughout such as oak, lime plaster, granite and limestone. A choice of wood burning stoves or underfloor heating means this cottage is cosy at any time of the year. A stream flows through the grounds where you will also find an oak bridge and a disused 19th Century Flax mill.

The range cooker is a fully functioning burning Aga which needs quite a lot of attention to keep running. Plenty of seasoned firewood is available.
Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge).
Please be aware this is a rural, remote property with a river running through and around the (partly enclosed) garden. Please supervise children at all times.

Kitchen Fully equipped traditional kitchen with wooden door leading to the garden, table and seating for four guests, granite worktops, wood fired Aga, 4-ring electric cooker with two ovens, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Utility and boot room With a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer and door to the garden. Cloakroom With wash basin and WC. First Floor: Bedroom one With a king-size bed. En-suite bathroom Walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Bedroom two With a king-size bed. Bedroom three With twin single beds. Bathroom With a bath, wash basin and WC. Outside: There is a stable style front door to the large gravelled area at the front of the cottage above which is the start of the extensive woodland. The side door from the kitchen leads on to a large open grassed area bordered by trees and shrubs around which weaves a quiet stream. The back door from the utility/boot room leads to a fenced lawned area which is again bordered by trees with the nearby stream running behind. Private access driveway across a shallow ford and up a short country track with parking for two cars.
