On the ground floor a large open plan kitchen dining area also has a seating area making this the sociable heart of the home and with bi-fold doors to the delightful south facing garden, it’s a sociable space year round. Thoughtful touches include underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and in all bathrooms: marble radiators and oak doors reclaimed from a Cotswold Manor House complete the styling.
The cottage is tucked away in a quiet lane in the very centre of the village. This attractive and friendly village hosts many traditional events and is within easy walking distance of the village centre where you will find the excellent Rattlebone Pub, a wine shop, Tucks Farm shop & florist, and the community run Post Office and Village Stores. There are plenty of wonderful scenic Cotswold walks both direct from the doorstep of the cottage or a short drive away.
Ground floor: Entrance hall: With bi-fold doors to the patio and garden Utility/cloakroom: Housing the washer/dryer as well as WC and washbasin Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen including electric range cooker with two ovens, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, additional freezer and dishwasher. Open-plan dining area: With table and chairs for eight and sitting area with space for six to relax in comfort in front of the LDC television. Sitting room: Including an electric woodburner style focal point fire and LDC television and DVD player. First floor: Bedroom one: Double bedroom with 5ft bed. En-suite bathroom: In pink italian marble with walk-in shower including overhead rain drench and second adjustable shower attachment. Heated towel rail, WC and washbasin. Bedroom two: With 4ft6’’ four poster style bed. En-suite bathroom: Includes Art Deco style suite with large bath with hand-held shower attachment. Bedroom three: With 6ft zip and link bed (can convert to 3' singles upon request) and sofa. En-suite bathroom: With spacious shower, heated towel rail, WC and vanity washbasin. Outside: Enclosed courtyard garden with box lined gravel paths, flower beds and garden furniture. Additional Information: Sorry, no pets. Regrettably fireworks are not permitted.
