The bucolic setting is second to none: although on the edge of a quintessential Cotswold village, here you will feel at one with nature, away from it all.
Built in the 1990's, in a style reminiscent of the colonial era, the Pavilion was, until recently, a writer's retreat. The interior has been refurbished to the highest standard by designer Susie Stocks, whose restful palette complements the landscape beyond. There is a verandah along its southern side, with a private decked area with lawn at one end and a patio the other. The fields beyond are 'Footpath Central', where it is not unusual to happen upon deer.
Ground Floor Accommodation: 30-foot long studio space with vaulted ceiling, beech strip flooring and cross beams Kitchen area With electric oven and hob and fridge with freezer compartment. Dining area with a table and chairs. Sitting area With a wood burning stove, 32-inch Smart television and DVD player. Bedroom area With a 5' king-size bed with Vi Spring mattress. Shower room A separate Travertine-tiled shower room with wash basin and WC along with the luxury of underfloor heating. Outside: Lawned garden with wonderful countryside views. Deluxe sun loungers, a charcoal barbecue and outdoor dining furniture. Allocated parking in shared drive for one vehicle (and a second by prior arrangement). Additional Information: Please note this is a studio apartment and, other than the shower room, is open-plan. Sorry, no pets. A small baby in own moses basket is welcome.
