For those who prefer “a step” up from the usual camping experience, this is the perfect location for the activity-minded to explore the stunning surrounding mountains, woodland, lakes and streams; whatever the time of year.
Fully insulated and heated, so welcoming all year round, these eco-friendly glamping pods are easily accessible from the road and are set within 4.5 acres of privately owned mountainside woodland.
Each cosy pod is appointed with twin full-size single divan beds. There are also tea and coffee making facilities - perfect to get you going on those early morning starts! Crockery and cutlery is provided, however for al fresco cooking, please bring your own utensils, pots and pans.
*Covid 19 – We are opening on a restricted basis from 13th July (subject to change in government guidelines). For the Camping Pods, each Pod will be allocated its own bathroom (shower and toilet) and we will need to close the communal facilities such as The Community Room, kitchenette and Laundry. We will need guests to bring their own bedding and towels (fitted sheet and pillow will be provided) and crockery, cutlery and ann cooking utensils. Maple Lodge is self contained and will not be effected.
Glamping pod: Twin full-size single divan beds, bedside table with lamp. Tea and coffee-making facilities. Bathroom block: – 30 metres from the pods Three self-contained bathroom areas. Each one has a shower, separate WC and wash basin. Communal kitchenette: With microwave, toaster, sink and fridge. Communal area: A great social space with an additional microwave, fridge/freezer, internet access via a PC and a library of books and maps. Laundry and drying room: Coin operated washing machine and tumble-dryer. Additional Information: Two well-behaved medium sized dogs welcome per pod (£2 per dog per night). Basic pod package (included): One sheet and one pillow and case per bed – bring your own sleeping bag! Standard pod package: One sheet and one pillow and case per bed, feather duvet and cover, bath towel - £6 per pod per night. Luxury pod package: As per standard package with an extra pillow and case, hand towel and free WiFi: £10 per pod per night. WiFi: £2.50 per pod per night (included with luxury pod package)
