Ideally placed to explore the Southern Lakes, the apartment is just a walk away from local attractions including the historic Haverthwaite steam railway that runs (in season) to Lakeside on Windermere for lake cruises to Bowness and Ambleside. Also within walking distance are the Lakeland Motor Museum, Cliffhanger Escape Rooms and a Hotel with its Spa and Leisure Club (day passes available) and bar and bistro restaurant overlooking the river. Nearby outdoor activities include cycle trails and Go Ape experiences in Grizedale forest, fell walks, and water sports opportunities on Windermere or Coniston Water. For foodies, this area offers a great selection of dining options, from restaurants to gastro pubs and casual cafes.
