Perfectly situated close to the historic copper mining site of Morwhellam Quay which offers an array of facilities including a village shop and pub. Alternatively, jump in the car and you will find the nearby stannery market town of Tavistock boasting a pannier market, restaurants, cinema, swimming pool, park and walks beside the River Tavy and canal. Walkers and outdoor enthusiasts will also be in their element as just a short drive away is Dartmoor National Park, renowned for its rugged scenery, tors and quaint villages. Plymouth, with its variety of attractions including the historic Barbican, National Marine Aquarium and shopping centre is also close by. Other places of interest include the quaint fishing villages of Looe and Polperro, National Trust Buckland Abbey, Lydford Gorge and Cothele House.
