On the ground floor the accommodation consists of a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and original beams, a bright open-plan kitchen and dining room with central island and breakfast bar, a utility room and cloakroom. There is also a spacious ground floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and a twin bedroom with its en-suite shower room. On the first floor is a mezzanine family and play room, and a second double bedroom with an en-suite shower room.
Carefully converted to a high standard, guests will enjoy this wonderful cottage and its pretty rural setting with countryside views across the surrounding fields. There are a network of footpaths and bridleways leading to a multitude of walks, and in particular The Monarch’s Way, Leland Trail and Hook Drove are all footpaths which run within a few miles.
Within easy reach are numerous market towns and ham stone villages, offering guests endless opportunities for exploring the magical county of Somerset and its neighbours of Dorset and Devon.

Travel cot and highchair are available on request. The cottage is located next to a small working farm. Please note that you can from time to time hear the distant sound of helicopters from RNAS Yeovilton during the day which is just under four miles away from the cottage. In the build up to Air Day in July each year the wonderful air displays can be seen in the distance from the cottage - next scheduled event July 2022.
