The popular seaside town of Westward Ho! offers family entertainment, a golf course, access to the South West Coast Path and there are also some lovely walks across the Burrows. Bring your buckets and spades and enjoy family days on the sandy beach, it s two miles long so there s space for everyone, or why not try your hand at surfing. The fishing village of Appledore is a short drive with its pretty quayside, restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops and galleries. Nearby are a wealth of famous beaches and attractions that include Instow, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, the cobbled streets of Clovelly, Dartington Crystal, Lundy Island and many more.
