The village of Appledore has a tempting range of restaurants, pubs and shops to choose from. During the summer take the foot ferry to Instow, where there is a sandy beach and plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. A larger beach with its pebble ridge at Westward Ho! is just a short drive away or you may prefer to walk along the coast path to get there. Visit nearby Bideford where you will find a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. For a fun day out for the little ones visit the Big Sheep or the Milky Way. Enter the property and into the hallway with cupboards for putting away your coats and boots after a day out walking. Through to the lounge where you can relax in front of the flame effect gas fire and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV or enjoy a bit of peace and quiet with a good book in the snug or watch a film on the Smart TV.
