This stunning lodge is within easy reach of the gorgeous country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall both ideal for whiling away an afternoon. The nearby pretty market town of Bakewell lies in the very heart of the Peak District National Park and offers a fantastic place for meandering through the various shops, cafes and restaurants. For keen walkers and cyclists, you ll enjoy lovely country walks from your doorstep and plenty of off road cycling tracks. Matlock has a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, a weekly market and parks. In Autumn The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are a spectacular event. From horse riding at Darley Dale and Hazelwood to rock climbing in Cressbrook, there is no shortage of things to do in the Derbyshire Dales.
