Enjoying a private setting within the grounds of a small holding, you are free to roam the meadows, or venture further afield. A network of well waymarked footpaths are ideal for walkers, while winding country lanes enable cyclists to discover neighbouring villages and hamlets. Nearby the vibrant market town of Leominster renowned for its local antique and curiosity shops, the ideal location for a relaxing browse, and a short drive leads you to the beautiful cathedral city of Hereford. Just over the border into Shropshire is the market town of Ludlow with its medieval castle, a food enthusiast s paradise due to its bustling farmers market and food centre bursting with local produce. There are many National Trust gardens that are open seasonally within easy reach including Berrington hall and Brockhampton Estate and Croft Castle. Slightly further afield you can reach The Elan Valley with its visitors centre, Offa s Dyke, and The Black Mountains. The world famous literary town of Hay on wye is also easily accessible. Within a one minute drive, less than 0.5 miles there is The Grove, which houses a ten pin bowling alley, adventure golf, driving range and 2 x 9 hole golf courses and a restaurant. The cleverly divided space offers a lounge area where you can relax in front of the wood burner and enjoy catching up with friends, as well as space for dining where you can gather around the reclaimed table. The kitchen area has a contemporary finish, complemented with open galvanised rack stocked with vintage china. There is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. When the day is done you will find two bedrooms, a king size bedroom with views onto the countryside and a twin zip and link (that can be made into a super king by request when booking). There is a spacious bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Outside there is an enclosed garden including BBQ and a patio with table and chairs, and you are also free to wander the enclosed meadows within the grounds where you can meet the local farm life. In the evening, you can take a glass of wine up to the elevated platform and watch the sun go down with panoramic views across the Welsh hills. There is off road parking for two cars and a lockable shed for bike storage.
