The stunning main beach of Trearddur Bay is less than one mile from Bryngwyn, with the beach being popular all-year-round for walking, and in summer being excellent for a host of watersports in the pristine waters here, choose to have a go at surfing, wind-surfing, water-skiing or even scuba-diving, and many more! The bright white sands are perfect for sunbathing, with a host of amenities near the beachfront to enjoy too; children can play in the play area that backs the beach, while bars and cafés offer the best place for midday refreshments, with the Beach Hotel home to a snooker hall for a few games and a refreshing drink! Head down to Rhoscolyn and walk along the headland, with another beautiful beach down here too, as well as the old St Gwenfaen's Church and Well. Walkers will be delighted to discover Holyhead Mountain, which despite being small also involves some scrambling and climbing, as well as affording beautiful views of the surrounding area at the top, while down below in Holyhead there are many shops to browse as well as the Roman walls here too.
