This fabulous stone house nestles in a pretty valley and is an all year round destination with nearby breath taking countryside to sandy beaches and pretty market towns to a medieval city. Enjoy great walking from the property s doorstep and access to Loggerheads Country Park. Why not climb nearby Moel Famau, the highest hill in the Clwydian Range or head north to take a stroll on Talacre beach 13 miles away, as is Chester, with its medieval walls, independent shops, eateries and renown zoo. Venture into Mold, with its street market, annual food and drink festival and Theatre Clywd, or the historic towns of Ruthin, Denbigh and Llangollen with independent shops, eateries and attractions including steam trains and canal activities. This period, detached house is full of interesting features and all the thoughtful little extras throughout for your stay. Walk into the welcoming hall with the kitchen/diner straight ahead, to your right is the lounge, and left is the library snug. Let s start in the kitchen with access to the patio and views over the garden, you will find all the equipment you need including an electric range oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is plenty of space for everyone to gather round the dining table whilst enjoying an evening meal. There is also a separate WC on this floor. After dinner head to the library snug or into the lounge with feature fireplace, wood burner, comfy sofas and Smart TV or open the feature doors and let the outside in to enjoy. Back in the hall go down the stairs to the lower ground floor where you will find the games room, piano and the cinema room. There are two bedrooms on this floor: the double bedroom and twin bedroom, and a shower room with WC. You will find the washing machine in the utility room on this floor. Back up the stairs to the first floor, you can find a further three bedrooms, the super king, twin and king. Take a leisurely bath or shower in one of the two bathrooms with shower over bath and separate WC. There s lots of space for everyone to get together, or find solitude, and enjoy this lovely location. Outside is full of surprises, enjoy morning coffee on the paved terrace, discover the small pond teeming with life, or walk down to the seasonal river with shallow pool ideal for dogs or a little paddling. Also, join the nearby footpath into Loggerheads Country Park. The patio by the kitchen has table, chairs and a charcoal BBQ, perfect spot for sundowners and alfresco dining. Take time to enjoy the pretty shrubs and borders, read a book and watch the local wildlife in this idyllic spot, set in 2.5 acres of grounds. The cottage style garden is organically managed working with nature rather than against it. There is private parking for four cars at the property and undercover space for bikes, canoes and paddle boards in the store. Please note the owner lives next door though privacy is assured. The access road is quite steep and may be temporarily impassable when it snows. If this happens there is space to park at the top of the road. Need to know: 5 bedrooms 1 super king, 1 king, 1 double and 2 twin. 2 bathrooms with shower over bath and WC, 1 shower room with shower and WC, and 1 separate WC. There are livestock in the surrounding fields please keep dogs on a lead. On occasion, there may be grazing cattle in the field through which the driveway passes. Limited mobile phone reception due to rural location. Please note there is a pond in the garden young children to be supervised at all times.
