Set in the grounds of the owner's country house, this property provides a beautiful base for enjoying long country walks. You can take a stroll in the neighbouring field, share a picnic and spot the red kites, woodpeckers and jays flying overhead. Local attractions include the remains of ancient Brecon Y Gaer and Pen y Crug forts (3.5 miles), Llangorse Lake (11 miles) and Talgarth Mill (12 miles). The friendly market town of Brecon (4 miles) is set in the lee of the mountains with the rivers Usk and Honddu running through it. Brecon has a host of great places to eat and drink as well as a cathedral, a 1930s style cinema, an excellent theatre, a range of shops and a leisure centre complete with swimming pool. This delightful loft conversion is part of the original 18th century farmhouse which was once home to the Morgan family, who set up the popular Morgans department store in Cardiff. The property is set in the grounds of the owner s country house and is approached via a private drive.
