Heading out and over the ancient stone bridge, you will find the charming small town of Crickhowell which has a further choice of pubs and restaurants as well as walks along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. You can also explore the banks of the River Usk, or head along to the Llangattock Escarpment and the Table Mountain Path (3.5 miles). Other local attractions include Tretower Castle (8 miles), Llangorse Lake (10.5 miles) and Skirrid Fawr (12 miles). This is a fantastic area for numerous outdoor activities including climbing, walking, mountain biking and birdwatching. The bustling market town of Abergavenny is also nearby (10 miles).
