This stunning property is the ideal rural retreat for friends looking to relax and enjoy quality time together. Surrounded by unbridled Welsh countryside, the cottage is in a peaceful location with a range of walking and cycling trails from your door, with more routes available if you re willing to travel further afield. Pen Y Fan, the National Park s highest peak, is within 10 miles and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the area. There are also wonderful caves, waterfalls and rivers to discover. The pretty market town of Brecon and its picturesque canal is only 6 miles away, with shops, eateries and other amenities, whilst other attractive towns such as Hay on Wye, home of the famous Hay Festival, are also worth a visit. Stepping inside, you will appreciate the original features, charm and warmth of this delightful cottage. On the ground floor, there is a cosy lounge with sofas in front of a wood burner. From here, you can access the sunny conservatory where the dining table and chairs make it the perfect setting for an evening meal; facing west, you ll be able to make the most of the evening sun. The kitchen is well equipped so that you can make the most of your holiday. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a double bedroom with a large en suite wet room. The king size master bedroom is on the first floor and has charming exposed beams, please be aware of restricted height in places due to the slanting ceiling. This room also has an en suite shower room. Behind the property is a garden with a BBQ and dining furniture for al fresco dining. To the front, there is another pretty garden full of spring bulbs and flowers. Although this property is completely independent, please be aware that is attached to the original farmhouse by a glass entrance hall. There is ample parking available. Need to know: 2 bedrooms: 1 king size, 1 double (ground floor). 2 en suite shower rooms each with WC ( ground floor wet room with walk in shower & WC). Electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge (with icebox) and a dishwasher. Shared washing machine (with owner) is available in a separate annexe. Cot and high chair available. Wood burner (all logs inclusive). TV with Freeview and integrated DVD player. WiFi available. Patio garden with dining furniture and BBQ. Ample parking. Regret no pets.
